Hard to deny a ship that landed on the moon was not hi-tech! Space tech has certainly improved since 1969, but...

Here's another piece of hi-tech space gear on a coin, this time courtesy of Canada.

Before the US Space Shuttles were retired in 2011, they were outfitted with CanadaArm - a multi-jointed, robotic arm that was used to deploy, secure, reposition and retrieve payloads in space. A hi-tech arm on a hi-tech space vehicle!

The $15 silver coin is part of the Exploring Canada series issued by the Canadian Mint in 2014-15. The reverse design presents a view of two astronauts in the midst of an EVA (Extravehicular Activity) (i.e., space walk) during one of the Shuttle's five Hubble Telescope Servicing Missions; the astronauts are shown using CanadaArm; the Hubble is in the mid-ground and Earth is in the background

Here's a high tech note (for Cuba) of a power station, windmills, and a service truck with a lineman commemorating their 'Energy Revolution'.
