Now I'm really confused. The 1st word & the 4th word are both supposed to be 5 letters & begin with the letter t. However, word one starts with 202 & has 15 numbers, while word 4 starts with 002 & has 19 numbers. If they both start with t how come they don't start with the same numbers?

I wondered the same thing. Very confusing, but we're going to need many more clues.

How about a new clue each day?

Clearly, it means that the first numbers have nothing to do with the first letters.

But I admit to being confused too. He's given enough clues to work out the code structure, but by my reckoning, the fourth word has six letters. Can I have a recount, please?

I was hoping this might be a code that someone with my small brain capacity might be able to figure out. Something where letters were represented by the same numbers, & each letter was represented by a set of 2 or 3 numbers. Maybe I'm blind but I'm not seeing a pattern in these numbers.

Let us wait for some more clues, as I'm confused also.

The recount is in, both the first and fourth word definitely have 5 letters.

EDIT

How embarrassing, the fourth word has 6 letters. I don't know how to count.

There are a lot of zerros "0" in each word. Could it be the 0 is somewhat neutral or something?

I thought about that, but if you compare the 1st & 4th groups of numbers after you take the 0's out there is still a different amount of numbers.

I know! Let's all compare notes and cheat! I say that the first word and the fourth word can both start with T because the first word starts with "20" and T is the 20th letter in the alphabet. The fifth word begins with "40" which is a multiple of 20, so it's still a T. On the other hand, if the wind is blowing out of the northeast at more than 33 miles per hour this whole theory goes out the window, but only if there are two windows open in the same room and it is NEITHER a Thursday nor a leap year.

Understand?

I still don't know, with any great certainty, if the fourth worh is comprised of 5 or 6 letters. NOD - would you please clarify? Earlier, you said the recount is in and that both word ONE and word FOUR had 5 letters, but right under that statement you said " How embarrassing, the fourth word has 6 letters. I don't know how to count." .... so please, how many letters in word number 4?

The fifth word starts with 40, but not necessarily with a T. Nod2003 said the FOURTH word started with a T.

Second word, or fourth word has 6 letters?
