I would encourage you to go back through the thread a bit - it might prove to be a bit less "random" than your initial impressions lead you to believe.

There has been a wide range of coin/medal trios posted, with some interesting historical progressions of denominations, compositions and/or designs included.

Here's a trio of modern US commemorative coins that commemorate anniversaries of milestone US political documents: 1987 Constitution Bicentennial Silver Dollar, 1993 James Madison/Bill of Rights Silver Half Dollar and 2014 Civil Rights Act 50th Anniversary Silver Dollar.
