Or at least that is how it was described 21 years ago when I purchased it. Oddly enough it wasn't until today that I took pics and examined the coin under strong magnification. Now I am not 100% sure that the last digit is a number 2. If this were a 15th Century coin, then I would be certain that it was a number 4. Any thoughts out there on which is correct?

This is (by far) my oldest coin listed in the Red Book!
Unfortunately AFAIK modern research suggests that this date wasn't actually issued for the colonies (some other dates/mints of the same type might have).
