Quote: Why announce a nation wide celebration and distribution to "banks" when none of them seem to know or care or have the ability to order these coins? Indeed.

Any "distributor" (Loomis, Garda, Brinks, etc) has employees that aren't stupid. They will be "fishing" the bulk Mint shipment Ballistic Bags looking for the privy coins the Mint has salted. What the distributors don't fish out the bank branch managers and tellers will fish out. The temptation is too great not to!

Obviously Some people are " privy " to These rolls , While others are Not..... Boba, Your 100% Correct, These " July 4th " Quarters are Very, Very Rare. I too have placed research into the topic, These I have found, Call the Big Boy Banks in your area, ask for a customer service rep, Ask for a Few New 2026 DOI quarters, I found the banks Will tell you Exactly when they received a Last shipment and being the 2026 Declaration of Independence coins were Released about 6-weeks ago, That information will assist in knowing, What new quarters they Might have. If they Do Not have them or they have say the Mayflower quarters, They are going through the circulating coinages, When they Re-Order Again, The Strong chances are The 2026 DOI Quarters Will follow Soon, Just Here on the Island..... IMO, They Will get the Quarters We want.

If you are a common smuck like most of us here you have just about a ZERO chance of scoring one of these privy quarters "from the wild". It's just another way the system is rigged against us.

There's another seller from West Jefferson, NC now offering about 30 of these things across two ebay accounts. Absolutely no shot this guy got that many already through any legal channel. (Edit: scratch that, here's about 20 more from a brand new 0 feedback account from the same place. Obviously same dude. https://www.ebay.com/itm/168509911183?stype=1)

I was all in and ready to buy one until I saw that shipping wasn't free. That was a deal breaker for me....

I believe these will be super hard to locate , I also believe these will trickle in More as time passes and supplies get around. I am Hunting like the rest, Best Wishes All,..... If they are selling/Sold for $1500.00 or Best Offer on The Bay, , and I see Many Sold for this explanation, What do collectors Here believe the Final lasting price will be on The 2026 DOI Quarters having the July 4th Privy, When all the hype has gone, .........

250,000 is a lot of coins. They are not "rare" by any means but have a magnetic hype to some people that will stimulate demand for a few months. The days of these being 1000$+ coins will be short lived. I'd look for avg unc coins to settle in the 100$ range as more and more show up on the market. Time will tell.

Hello Westernsky, I 100% Respectfully Disagree,..... The market is Hot now, when a new product is released this Always happens..... Only 2026 is Not just any year and These 4th of July DOI Quarters are Not just an ordinary " latest " hype, We live in a very Special time. IMO, History will dictate they Will be in demand for a Long, Long time. 250,000 is a lot of coins, The average person does not even know about this Hunt. These will be hot for Years to come, I think these will be popping up for Years to come too. Yes, Time will tell..... ps, I asked Above if prices Now are Over $2,000.00 as seen in sold listings on the bay, what do Others believe the final price on these will be once the hype wears, I think its far too early to judge, ....

Anyone taking odds on if ANY of those ebay "Privy quarters" sales represent actual transactions of a genuine Privy? Or are they more like the 1967 "rare no mintmark quarter for $500" listings that are so prevalent? Have any genuine Privy quarters been validated by any of the TPGS or Coin World, for example?

ebay sellers have been listing these as "in hand," posting photos of the actual coins in various settings, and most have 99-100% positive feedback. The "pre-sale" ebay members who got $5,000+ for their listings will likely just buy one from someone who has it in hand for $1,000-$2,000, then ship it to their buyer once they receive it.

Quote: Have any genuine Privy quarters been validated by any of the TPGS or Coin World, for example Give 'em a chance to see one. The first coins were only found earlier this week. The wheels of coin grading turn very slowly.
