Yup! The price is a killer, and I bet these will re-sell for melt in a few years like the bicenentennial sets have.

I really don't think so. It's not just the fact that they are the semiquincentennial, but also its mintage limit is on the lower side, and it may be the last set the SF mint releases. So there's a lot of factors right now pointing to it being highly desirable and on the scarcer side.

Also, just got an email my credit card was charged for 2 sets, one for keeps and the other to probably sell down the line. This will be my first/only set representing circulating coins for the year. I figured if I want a set, I go all the way lol.

As others in this thread, I decided to purchase one set (vs. 2 ) . Did the same on the UNC & Proof Sets. . .

Earlier I posted that I thought it said 250,250; which would track. But I misread it. Perhaps someone in the back office mistyped it.

That would make sense, also since they are already price gouging, they should have jacked it up another $5 to make it $250.

My subscription is still processing, even though the set is live.

As of 1245 PM EST these are on back order despite being released at 12 noon today. Must have been a lot of subscription orders. Will probably see a flood of these on ebays at 300% mark up.

Anyway, Mint says they expect to fulfill my order for 2 sets in November. We'll see.
