Some body repaired it with a tack weld, so that they could spend it,lol!

I wonder if I just doubled my money by splitting the coin?

I could slip the reverse side into paying for something with change, then use the obverse side somewhere else.

I have a coin like this except not in two. And like yours it has Kenney there as well. I believe that it was a Mint mistake. If you look closely you will just be able to make out the A (HALF) just under the L in Liberty, The parting of his hair is at the top of Roosevelt head. Put a half dollar next and check. Same for back. Eagle
