According to APMEX, gold is sitting at $4099 right now after some heavy overnight trading. Can it go one dollar higher? We'll see... |

And the answer is yes! A minute later and gold has officially broken the $4100 barrier (according to APMEX, at least).  |

i watched the overnight activity up to about 4am, pretty dramatic leaps up beginning at 6pm last night.

$4,109.43 as I type, 15 minutes until the closing bell.
this is why I was wondering aloud days ago about the price doubling. gold just seems to be blowing through the hundred dollar-marks with ease... hot knife through butter.

Jeez it went up another $100 today, and while I was thinking of buying another oz. Gold is not going to stop. The economic conditions wont allow it, nor will the frenzied buying. Its a sellers market out there.
Were far from the end. On payday I'll try to swing a half oz. We'll see, there premiums aren't to bad now.

The dollar tanking is making everything more expensive, including gold.

it's quite a show. gives me something to look at & read about. i'll consider selling once gold hits that $5K-mark.  |
