The afternoon slope was downward. Back into the "normal" ~$58 zone. Tomorrow we do it again.

Quote: Nice little pop above the ~$60 line this morning. The September silver futures (the currently traded front month) shows a high of day so far was $61.54 I sold just below $61, all the positions that I bought last week when Silver was in the $57, $58, $59 range. A whole week sure seems like an awfully long time to wait for Silver to move a few bucks. But this is what it used to be like a few years ago. Not as exciting as when it was moving a few bucks an hour and on a daily basis a few months ago.. Anyways I'm out for now and taking whatever I can get ahead of tomorrow mornings 'Job's Report'. Never know how the markets might or might not react. Also tomorrow is the last trading day before the long holiday weekend, and you know what that sometimes means.

Well, I have been following along this thread for quite some time, and has been much fun reading everything said so far. For me personally, this is a buyers market for my holdings, so I have been buying a few ounces plus in the last few weeks, regardless of what type of silver it is, from coin bullion to American silver, to foreign silver, tokens and medals, etc.

Well, well, we had a nice little pop to ~$61 at 8:30 AM EDT. Gold had the same pop. Not expecting it to hold, but someone had a need.

We had a bump up to the ~$62 earlier. Sideways chopping the ~$61 zone now.

So we sloped back into the ~$60 zone this afternoon. The gold chart looks like a copy and the markets are mixed.

Silver ended the day kissing the ~$61 zone. I wonder what will happen over the long weekend. We will find out Monday.

No need to wait until Monday, since the rest of the world is still trading. Silver up to ~$62 overnight.
