Glad to hear that she is doing well!

Take care of yourself, too. It's important to take care of the caregiver. You've all been through quite the ordeal here. Enjoy some rest from the stress and every moment with your pup!

yep, she is getting stronger everyday - now she (and the other dog) will find their ball and will bug me to toss it for here all the time. The names of my dogs are Laurel and Hardy

And people say that dogs are color blind - I say no to that. I have 2 balls for the dogs, one blue and one lime colored. Hardy knows that the blue one is hers and Laurel always chases the lime one.

yes, her limp is just about completely gone now.
But I do notice a change in her personality - I think that she is very aware of what her condition was and that I went to extreme measures to save her. Now she follows me all over the house wher I go she follows, even when I'm simply opening up doors and windows, she is right by my side.

So glad to hear the good news Dearborn. May good health follow you both (all three) in the days , months and years ahead.

I agree about dogs and color awareness, I have seen it in our dogs as well
