They were the first idea to cut back on the use of copper. I'm trying to get someone in the archives to make sure that there was 2 types or 3 types of weights.... I know the first was 2.6grams another was 2.9 grams. A blank was also authenticated at 2.8 grams. Not hard to prove when you do research. Getting grading companies to do research is the hard part. HGK3 Pillar of the Community United States 578 Posts	Posted Yesterday 7:23 pm Also, to be fair to the grading company, the slab does not unequivocally claim the coin is "Genuine" or "Authentic", just that it's copper plated. PCGS and NGC use those terms when there is some question, even when the coin gets a "Details" designation, so we can't assume authenticity is being claimed. Report this Post to the Staff
