The reason they bring a premium for some, is the perceived collectability of the limited number of mint wrapped rolls available.

Also Us Army, the additional value is in keeping the white boxes closed, never opening them. An open mint box loses value to a number of collectors.

If you haven't bid yet USArmy, I have 5 sets of LP2 still in their mint boxes. I'll sell you one for cost, $8.95 plus shipping, you can still get LP3 and LP4 from the mint for $8.95 each plus shipping, which leaves you $75 to pick up a set of LP1 from ebay. You might save a little bit that way.
