Question: would it be worth it to buy 2-5 rolls here and there of dimes? Or should I buy boxes?

$500 bag from pick up banks coming sorter yeilded 6 silver Rosie's. Only edge searched them.

Having searched over $100,000 in dimes last couple years, I have found no difference in silver quantity, be it customer-rolled, or machine-rolled from boxes. I have found more Barber dimes and mercs in machine-rolled from boxes. Before I stopped searching volume, I was going through $2k-$3k in customer-rolled per month and found one silver per $150. Easier for me to pick up my guaranteed $1k bag of rolled dimes (when the bank called me), than it was to roll the dice and hope the bank remembered my box order. When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

snagged a hole filling 1961 yesterday for my hunted silver dimes book. over half of the book is full at this time, and I started it in January

went to 4 different banks nearby for $80 in dimes. Got a 58D and 64D.
Now I wish I knew which bank I got that roll from =/

Edge searched a $1000 bag of dimes the last 2 days. Only found 5 silver Roosevelt's for this bag. Results have been slower this fall than they were in the summer.

I have done 71 boxes of dimes this year. I found 6 mercs, 65 rosies, and 2 silver canadian dimes.
For the rosies, I filled 28 of the 48 holes, or .583 of the collection. its been fun and I will have to work on some year end stats.

Found this in a roll of dimes today. 1954 Venezuela 25 centimos 1.25 grams of .835 silver  Edited by trapper
