F12 Fine

- The four central laurel leaves and the top next leaves are almost worn through. The hair detail above and below the ear is gone. Dress folds are worn.

VF20 Very Fine

- The hairline from above the eye down to the nape of the neck shows wear. The four central leaves of the laurel wreath are worn. The dress folds are clear.

EF40 Extremely Fine

- There is slight wear on the swept back hair and the laurel wreath. The eyebrow is worn. The dress folds are distinct. Mint luster has all but disappeared.

AU50 About Uncirculated

- Slight traces of wear on high points. Fifty percent of mint luster still remains.

AU55 About Uncirculated

- Very slight wear on the eyebrow and other high points. The mint luster has been disturbed and forms a halo around the portrait.

MS60 Uncirculated

- No traces of wear. Hairlines, contact marks, and blemishes are present on all parts of the design. High degree of luster that may be slightly disturbed.

MS63 Select Uncirculated

- No traces of wear. Will have minor hairline scratches, contact marks, and blemishes. Will have original mint luster.

MS65 Gem Uncirculated

- No traces of wear. A nearly perfect coin with very minor hairline scratches, contact marks, or blemishes only in secondary areas. Will have full original mint luster.
