The new quarter obverses starting with the 2022 American Women Quarters do not say "In Cod We Trust." It's a G. Most started with a very tiny serif when minted unless it was polished off the die due to a clash or some other mishap. Even the slightest die polishing will remove it. The serif could be gone because of wear. This was just a poor choice of font by the Mint because the serif is so tiny that even when it's there, some people don't see it. There is no error, misspelling, or whatever else you want to say about it. It's 100% normal.
Do not listen to Google AI, it's 100% unreliable and flat out wrong.
