@CelticKnot: Yes, when I edited the post to make the original correction noted by Big Silver, I edited the date in the wrong paragraph by mistake.

Mods: As I can no longer edit the post, can one of you make the date changes as listed by CelticKnot? I would very much appreciate it! Thanks!

*bump*

Hello mods... will someone correct the dates in paragraphs 2 & 3 of the original post, please? I'm waiting to plagiarize, er, "archive for my research purposes" this article and I want to make sure it's correct.

(Kidding about plagiarizing, of course, but I do like to refer to commemms' posts from time to time).

@CelticKnot: I believe the dates have been corrected at this point - they look correct to me at least! :)

Good to know.

For what it is worth, since my comment was directed to CK, it was accurate. Not only do I know he is not using a Mac, but that you are using Firefox on yours.

I humbly remind our newer members that - during a member poll of this sub-forum in November 2017 - our outstanding contributor commems was awarded the honorary tile of:

CCF Master Historian of USA Commemorative Coins

You can read the nomination story here:

http://goccf.com/t/300446

commems has consistently exceeded our expectations with all the shared knowledge from his vast wealth of commemorative history gained by diligent personal research - and I salute this most recent post ... but more importantly the body of knowledge willingly shared with all of us over the years.

Hence the honorary title - and well deserved at that.
