@Pacificoin, not bashing Canada at all. I love Canada. That said, as an investor, you cannot ignore risk that may exist if you are in the US with Canada.
You have to weigh the risks of the current US administration and its actions as well. Smart investors are not investing currently the way they did under the previous administration. There are government risks in my opinion.

This morning, silver was up 5% and PSLV was down 6-7%. At this writing silver is flat but PSLV is down 11%. Silver demand remains weak as sellers are willing to accept ever lowe prices to exit their positions. Downside risk persists.

Looks like it may have bottomed. Silver is still about flat. PSLV down about 6%. Silver up 2% and PSLV down less than 2%. Almost back to normal now and the sellers look to have mostly cleared the building at the moment. Was able to add a small amount to my long when it was down 8%. Thanks, @psuman08. One of the advantages of this product is that you can get out with minimal effort. Physical silver, I would have had to drive it out somewhere, lug the silver, wait in line, haggle over the counter over the price and the premium. I think I'm not old school enough for all that.

Back into PSLV at $24.87. Took my over 10% discount today to reestablish my position. Like that the market discount is always reflected right away with a little magnification. PSLV was down 10% when silver was down 8%.

Sold this morning on the rip higher. Nice overnight trade and profit.  Congrats to all silver longs. Positive CPI print increases the chances of a rate cut and further debases the dollar, making dollar-denominated assets go up. The dynamic with decreased inflation boosting silver is counter-intuitive. Normally the presence of inflation causes metals to go up, but this was a special case because of the overhang of lowering interest rates when inflation is elevated above the target policy rate.
Beyond today, if rates continue getting cut, this further expands the money supply and should be inflationary. But with the national debt approaching $39 trillion, lower rates may be needed to prevent the debt interest rate service from eating up this increasingly unmanageable portion of the gov't budget.
Unfortunately, our nation is squeezed between a rock and a hard place. Interest cuts are needed to pay the interest on our national debt, but this leads to currency depreciation making our dollar increasingly worth less.

The previous post talking about the debt problem applies to most of the free world . This time I think its different . When someone somewhere actually tries to deal with debt I might consider selling some PM's but until then I will keep buying to stay at 10 to 15%.

Economic news looks increasingly sour as U.S. jobs numbers were revised downward eliminating over 1 million previously reported jobs. This is now a three quarter increasingly negative trend. Wonder if and how the market tomorrow. The worst year in the last 20 years for downward revisions. Well it looks like GDP growth came in at a highly disappointing 1.4% while personal consumer expenditures came in at an alarming 3%. This means that as a nation, we produced just 1.4% more goods and services but consumed 3% more of the same. The difference is imports which showed in a report published yesterday that we ran a trade deficit of $900 billion in 2025. A terrible year for our finances which also saw our national debt approach $39 trillion.
