My Morgan was left on my front porch last night after I turned in for the night. . .same black plastic bubble bag as the Peace which was delivered to the mailbox yesterday morning.
OGP unaffected in transit; coin is as nice as the examples GLB and Gilly have posted above.
Still "on the fence" re: the two coin proof set [26XS] due in the Fall with a $375 price tag. . .probably a better move to put that $$ into rounds.

Received my EU Morgan and Peace yesterday, after sitting in Olathe, KS since thursday...
the Morgan looks great.
The peace is going back, a spot right on Liberty's cheek and some damage on the reverse rim above "states of". Almost looks like someone took a file to the rim.
As TheInfinityPoint said, at this price there should be no issues.

Opened mine today. I like the looks of these much better than the reverse proofs. The pictures shared are wonderful but do not capture the look in hand.
My Morgan will have to go back as it has a mark in her neck. Quality control is extremely poor at the US Mint these days. After my good experience at the mint, I may have to go that route for purchases.

I have the subscription to the 2 coin set hoping for this diamond finish. I keep hearing about it but I haven't seen anything. Got any additional information?

When I tilt the Morgan at different angles, I notice a bruised or scoffed appearance on her jaw/cheek area. It is only at one angle. Is this something anyone else notices, or is it defective?

The 2026 West Point Enhanced Uncirculated Peace Silver dollars are Awesome in hand, ....   The coin has a remarkable finish, an actual 100th Anniversary coin too.. Imagine This a Dual-Dated coin, 1776-2026 & 1926-2026, It Could of been,... Edited by Morgans Dad

I swear these had a lower mintage when initially announced. The reason I know is when I bought the 2025 I noticed the low mintage of 150k. I purchased several and was a bit disappointed when the 2026 was first announced as it also had the same mintage of 150k. Now when I look at the 2026 Peace dollar, I see a mintage limit of 250k which is higher than both the 2021 and the 2025. Perhaps the 2025 will still be the "key date" of the modern series as the 2027 has already been announced at 200k. Granted 150k is plenty to fulfill demand but as of now the 2025 uncirculated PD is the lowest minted coin of the modern series (still cheaper than the 2021 though). |
