Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about! I'm not really looking forward to when I have to buy the silver proof dimes from 1992-current. But, they still aren't super expensive either. Also, seamonkey, how are you doing on the Roosevelt set? I haven't seen a thread so far posted. If you are so inclined, I might at some point have some extra coins to send you if you can use them.

Quote: I'm not really looking forward to when I have to buy the silver proof dimes from 1992-current. Me either. Not sure if I will get the whole silver proof set since I'm doing the dimes, quarters and half dollars or get then singularly. Either way it will be costly and slow progress. I haven't posted my album yet. I have the silver 46-64 dimes but they are in airtights, haven't decided if I just want to put them in the album yet. I'll have to take pictures and post it soon. I do have a bunch of proof sets I haven't cracked open yet. Kinda waiting for the nickel album so I'll have a place for all of them when I do, otherwise I'd have to put the nickel in a 2x2 which I don't have either

Added four BU silver dimes that came in today. I'm starting to really dig this series. Seamonkey, I was gonna see if there was any dimes you needed, but you are quite a bit further along than I was expecting! I ended up giving them to my buddy at work that I sold my other dime album to.

Awesome additions. Quote: Seamonkey, I was gonna see if there was any dimes you needed, but you are quite a bit further along than I was expecting! I'll have to slow down til my finances catch up

Gotta give it to Profilecoins for that. So far, they've sent me some really nice dimes. Speaking of which, I also recently ordered that pesky 1946-D from them. Curious question for other folks who have done this series or just in general... For the 1965, 66 and 67 Roosevelt dimes... Should I just put regular UNC business strikes in, or should I go the SMS route? Obviously, the album doesn't specify. If I do both, I may possibly do the others on a blank page down the line... Possibly.

I put the Unc business strikes in mine since it wasn't marked. I eventually will get a blank page for the SMS so I can label it with the SMS designation. But I'm the kind of person that has to have both variations

I went the SMS route because I bought SMS sets to fill the SMS holes in the Kennedy 8166 album. For me, it was the only way I could be sure that I had SMS examples in those holes and I had to put the other coins somewhere. So, if you are doing the 8166 and you end up buying SMS sets, do the same. If not, regular coins would be fine.

Yeah, honestly, I just ordered whatever I could find! I don't care which honestly. Lol. I added recently the 65, 66 and 67 coins. I also ordered some more coins today. I really wanted to get down to my coin store, but on Saturday's, they are quite busy and chaotic... So I just said the heck with it and bought some on ebay. Luckily, all the coins I ordered are from the same seller so they'll all come in at once.

Looking good. At least with ebay, you can usually find what your are looking for....sometimes too many things.
