So next time you're at the bank pick-up a couple of rolls and start using them

Some people have no clue how lucky they are, to have such easy access.
Let me guess, your bank also keeps crisp, new $2 bills on hand, too?

Also from the photo above looks like a matte finish, however from photos on-line looks like normal circulated finish. Kind of a bummer. But I guess the matte finish would make it easier to snatch them up by employees during the rolling process

I was just wondering if stacked up how high would all these special edition halves be and here's what the internet gave up.

Copilot Search Branding

Height of 250,000 U.S. Half Dollars
A stack of 250,000 U.S. half dollars would be about 1.13& m (3.7& ft) tall
How this is calculated
Thickness of a U.S. half dollar: 0.109& mm (0.0043& in)
Number of coins: 250,000
Total height:
250,000×0.109mm=27,250mm#8776;1.13m
That's roughly 3.7& ft — a little over the height of an average adult.

According to the USM, a half dollar is .085 inches [ 2.16mm ] thick.
250,000 x .085" = 21,250 inches.
21,250 / 12 = 1,770.8 feet

Eerie coincidence: 1WTC (North Tower) reached a total height of 1,730 feet when including the television/cell tower antenna mast.
