Hi everyone! I'm from Alberta, Canada, and I've only recently started collecting coins. I'm still learning and discovering how fascinating this hobby can be! With our long, cold Alberta winters, I thought coin collecting would be a wonderful way to keep busy during the winter months. Hello, I took the dive into Indian Head Pennies. I've bought some and have more coming! I bought 2 Indian Head books. I've done a lot of research already in determining key dates and conditions (grading) and some values. I'm most interested in honing in on valuations of coins given the range you see. I understand there are the brick and mortar dealers and I understand there is a pretty solid established market in Indian Heads but I hope to distinguish between a real market value and avoid having to use AI and a variety of spreads on valuations. I just needed a place specific to Indian Heads if I stay interested as my collections are vast. I always liked em, knew they were a good collectable but was always quite ignorant and only found like 4 in the wild as a kid I kept. Sure I saw a few more. I hope to also move to more cherry picking and knowing what to look for. I'm here for valuations and cherry picking knowledge.
