I found this penny today, it looks like there is doubling in the center of all letters and year and mintmark, is this a double die? I was looking online and saw wexler's "1983-D 1¢ WDDO-001" and it looks like it. Tell me what you think?

You should also weigh all 1983 cents looking for a 3.1 grams cent.

I think it has to do with a plating issue. The copper plating kinda "sinks" down. Need coop on this one.

Looks like circulation damage altered the devices. Note the missing plating.
