Dang, really? I thought he'd done a LITTLE better than that. Not 69 by any stretch, but maybe 65, 66..

New eyes. Still learning.

And yeah I know this isn't the most exciting coin (tho it would be at 69). Just trying to learn.

Not a 69,
It has the start of a little carbon in the obverse fields, a black smudge on the reverse but, it is a very nice coin, MS-65RD

It seems to have a few small scratches, has a black spot and seems to be either toning or discoloring. I'd go for MS-63.

I'm at MS63RD also. discoloration on obverse and reverse. without that I think it could make 64 or maybe squeak out a 65 but not higher than that.

Nice to have a coin from your grandpa. Save it in a coin flip or plastic case so you can look at it without adding any finger prints.
