Spence Moderator United States 34485 Posts	Posted 01/11/2017 9:34 pm Bob, you never cease to amaze me with your powers of recognition. Looks like someone chucked this coin into a fire or something. The legend and obv bust seems to fit mid-16th century France. My only reservation is on the reverse, it kinda looks like there might have been a beaded border--look from about 12 o'clock through 2 o'clock (rather than a ring border as on the double tournois). However, I can't offer a better attribution as so would be fine with just accepting yours.
