Hey all. I purchased this 1955-s/s/s for $18.50. How would you Grade, I think it was a great deal. Thank you!

Well you're at least an MS60, maybe even a 63. CC list is $30(60), $45(63), so you did "well" according to that scale. Now what. Don't want to burst your bubble, but what are you going to do with it? I'm an RPM Collector myself, I may have paid $15 for that for my personal collection because I wanted it. I would not expect to sell it for what the "value" say, won't realize it, the market isn't there for a "flip" RPM, won't happen (unless you find a sucker, er buyer on ebay, but then you lose on the fees...

So, what's it for? Just think about it.

BTW, its a beautiful example of a trip S mintmark, all the details. Hope ya keep it!

Hey Crazy, This is a coin that I collect the series of, if I can find them for a good price I always purchase them. I actually own the highest graded 1955-s/s/s currently graded at MS 67.

I have this coin at a MS 65 and it looks very close to one of my 66's. Would like to know how you have it at 60 or 63. As you know with this particular coin the O in One and AM in America are often gone from polishing. I do plan on keeping this guy and getting it graded, I will share the result next time I send in a batch for grading.
