Need Help Identifying Icoin/Medal/Token?

JWH2JR New Member United States 19 Posts	Posted 09/14/2017 11:43 am I have been going nuts trying to identify this coin/token. It has writing which is close to Greek, (Greek to me), but not exact. It weights over 6g and the only mark on the reverse is .999. I am usually successful in identifying difficult coins but this one has stumped me. It also has a superficial resemblance to Bulgarian cursive script but the last character, which in other languages would be called a tilde, does not feature AFAIK, in Bulgarian. JWH2JR New Member United States 19 Posts	Posted 09/15/2017 07:51 am Thanks so much for your help. I did change the image once I figured out how to get it under 300kb. Thanks for identifying the symbol as LEO. I think the symbol also appears as the 4th or 5th character in the center. Now I look at this differently. Could the circles be the orbit of planets around the sun? Maybe this is not a coin or token but an Astrological Medallion. Based on the hole someone must have worn it as jewelry. It seems to test as Silver. Maybe some of the other script will provide more clues. Report this Post to the Staff
