1853 Large Cent: I Assume It Is A Copy

I do not collect Large Cents so some info would be appreciated. I personally suspect this is a copy vs a real coin. I am working on honing my pic taking with a new microscope so the color is a little off still. Color on coin is about the color of champagne - not a copper color. Weight: 10.4g Size: 27.8mm Date : 1 is into the device which seems odd. REV the words seem to "fat". So not being a Large Cent person, please tell me what you see on the coin that either proves or disproves my thought that this coin is a copy. Thanks for any input. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm leaning toward real, but would like to hear what others who know more say.
