I'm doubting for some time about which detector I should buy. I am esspecialy interested in the small & thin silver coinage and small objects of the early medievals. On the moment, I own a garret at pro that already got me a couple of sceatta's & carolingian denari. last month I went searching with a friend who ownes a XP, I found 1 hammered coin and he (walked in the same lane as I did) found 2. Before he started digging I tried my At pro on that spot, but no signal at all.
So I'm searching for a highly sensitive metal detector to find the small objects and coins.
I heard some options like the golden mask or the XP...
I think what you're using is fine. Minelab is not the greatest if you're looking for small gold, or any gold for that matter. It's rep is for killing it on the silver.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors... Roll hunting since '77 Dirt fishing since '72
