When looking at the devices on a coin, keep in mind, if the anomoly you are looking at, is flat with the field area and not raised, it is not a device. It must be raised upwards to be from a punching or hubbing. Stains, happen, the eye tries to figure out what it is, then imagination sets in. You convince yourself that is is something.
