2011 D Penny. With Some Marks....are These Errors Or Deterioration?

lainmejia Valued Member United States 74 Posts	Posted 06/29/2018 9:10 pm I found this coin and I was wondering if those marks are a Die Crack or any type of deterioration. There are 3 lines by the edge and one line across the number 1. Also it has a shadow in the interior edge. Any information will be appreciate !! Report this Post to the Staff

A die crack shows up as being raised from the surface of the coin.
