I know here on Long Island you can use TD Bank (formerly Commerce), and YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A CUSTOMER. No account necessary at the bank. Just wanted to let you know. Report this Post to the Staff

I generally turn it around in 24 hours. It's friends and co-workers, of course, but I do find some interesting things from time to time. And I always tell them that if I find anything worth $10,000, I'll split it with them. That hasn't happened so far. One fellow from work gave me a tin full of change recently, and in addition to the cash for the coins and his tin, I also gave him back five nails, two screws, a wing nut, a washer, a broken chain from a key ring, and a small bottle opener that I found in there.
