2020 50-P Surface Effect?

Picked up this almost uncirculated 2020 50p recently. Noticed it looks ever so slightly frosted. Also got one that looks quite normal - shiny. They're both the right weight etc so I'm wondering what might have caused the effect. The "slightly frosted" one looks slightly "peppered" in close-up for want of a better word, but couldn't get a good enough close-up to send in. Here's a pic. Any clues anyone?
