Definitely a doubled beak 1941 quarter. Based on the hub gouge near the left stem, I believe this to be FS-801, which is an actual doubled die on top of the doubled hub. Unfortunately, most of the doubled die details are smoothed away by wear, except for the visible split on the top right tip of the T in Quarter.

However, since the beak doubling is actually on the hub, I suppose it's also possible that this was another die manufactured from the doubled beak hub that has that particular gouge.

Thanks, guys. =)

The coin has endured some honest wear. Even so, I was happy to pick up a basic specimen for a couple bucks over melt.
