fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3628 Posts	Posted 06/04/2026 12:48 pm Decent strike for a coin in the heart of Philadelphia's die overuse / pancake era. The toning is impressive. The two areas of the coin that caught my eye are the concentration of contact marks on the front of the cheek and the eagle's right wing (our visual left) and the field beneath that wing. I agree with @Freespeech57 that these hits are too much for a 64. IMHO, it's MS-63 on a bourse floor, with a straight grade and nice eye appeal. I have no idea what CAC is thinking about toning, and I've seen them call natural toning "AT" several times. This isn't AT. Report this Post to the Staff

panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18644 Posts	Posted 06/05/2026 2:11 pm the 86 (P) are typically sharp. the ear area is a tad flat and especially the breast so the strike nets down to AVG-. due to the amount of toning it makes it a challenge to determine luster. eye appeal is less than avg as well. this year can be baggy are typically seen more like gun metal gray. the entire cheek area is compromised with scuffs and several marks on the breast. MS63 and they might have bumped with a + for the toning Report this Post to the Staff
