Perhaps a token reproduction distributed with newspapers. Sometimes I see those here. But it was not part of any of the ones I saw in Portugal. Asking on a spanish numismatics forum can provide an answer.
People do not pay attention to visighotic coins elsewhere. But some are quite rate. They set up many mints and kept replacing the coinage. New kings would melt away the coinage of the previous ones. Perhaps all taxes collected were molten and reissued as new coins. Rulers also changed the law of the coins very often. Sometimes they debased, sometimes increased the gold content.
This has caused some combinations of mint and ruler to be known from a singe coin.
