They have been parted (not by me) and have marks where they have been separated, such a shame as the detail on them is pretty good. It's hard to tell what metal is original or if any metal was added. If you file/grind the edge down it might look worse. On the other hand if you really want, try one and see how it turns out. Be careful, some ancient silver coins can crystalize inside making them brittle, they break easier. In auctions I sometimes see coins described as ex jewelry so buyers know there may be edge marks.
