A friend of mine buys a lot of estate lots and pulls out the possible error coins. Every once in a while I go through his pile to let him know what the coins are. Last pile was the usual bunch of damage, minor clips and laminations, etc. But there were two decent struck through die caps and this one. Turns out it was an unlisted split die, so I sent it in and JC attributed it. It will likely be on it's way to ANACS at some point, but I just made a big submission and it'll be a while before I have enough to do another. Normally for a split die I would go with PCGS, but I'd rather like to get "DISCOVERY PC" on the label and ANACS will do that.
