The rim ding is fairly large but nothing. Bad, coin is a fairly high-grade and should get much more than melt. Coin looks Good AU, and is a better date. Without the price reduction for the Rim Ding it's around $2800 if certified. With the rim ding, it'd get knocked down to around maybe $1800-$1900.

Assuming it was a problem-free AU50 it would be valued around $2,300-$2,400 and if this one graded AU50 Details - Rim Damage then we'd drop it to $1,800-$1,900 as zxcccxz noted. That is a severe ding and does hurt the value a lot. |

Looks like a circulated prooflike... Heck, I dunno if there's such thing as a prooflike $20, but the fields look nice and dark while the features look frosted. Cameo-ish. Looks low AU to me.

Nice Type I, AU-58 and the nick will bring the price down a little. This one is worth getting a TPG slab on. |
