Old Small Coin, Possibly India? (Id: Bengal Presidency Could Be 1/4 Rupee)

Inscription: "Shah Alam II Badshah" Rev: Persian-sanat (year, mint name) Edge: Plain Mint: New Calcutta Note: Mint name: Murshidabad Or a variety of this (depends on exact weight, edge milling) Report this Post to the Staff

Eligius Valued Member Netherlands 176 Posts	Posted 10/24/2020 05:16 am There is not much wear on the coin, looks EF to me. It is unlikely that a possible edge milling would have wordn away. I assume it was minted with a blank edge. This makes it KM 115. Nice coin! Unfortunate that it is damaged by the hole. Report this Post to the Staff
