Identification Help. Maybe Some Sort Of Cut Reale?

From what I have come across, it looks like maybe a Venezuelan 4 reales that was cut down to this rectangular piece. It looks like it says 835 on the back, and the date could be 1821 or 1824. It's not stamped with CARACAS, and the designs in the cross look odd. Report this Post to the Staff

The figures surrounding the cross don't look like castles and lions as they should. The date is below SVL, and consists of completely unreadable squiggles. I bought it and a 1586 Hungarian denar that is authentic and looks like a VF for $25, so I wasn't expecting much on this one. I'll do an acid test on it to see if it's silver at all.
