So I plan on going to the World's Fair of Money in Pittsburgh at the end of the month. Pretty flexible on which day(s) to go but I'm leaning towards the first full day on Wed 26th, so I don't miss out on any exclusive souvenirs.

1 - What show-only coins, medals, souvenirs, etc will be available there? I see I can pre-order the show medal from their website but will it also be available at the show?

2 - What will the US Mint be selling? The Constitution quarter should be out that day.

3 - Safest place to park?

4 - Do any CCF members have any kind of meet-ups?

5 - Any other advice and/or recommendations?

I am jealous! I was contemplating a road trip, but I do not think I will be able to swing it this time.

Its a road trip for me since I'm only a few hours away. May even be back home the same day depending on how long I'm at the show and what else I do in the city. A hotel stay is not out of the question though.

It would definitely be an overnight visit for me. I have not been to Pittsburgh since the summer of 2024, so I would want to hang out for a while.

I don't think that will happen! Unless you're looking for something very particular, it's hard to see everyone's table in one day, much less intensely browse through their offerings.

I did see the floor plan. How immense it is will probably hit me once I'm there.

I would consider all of the parking near the convention center safe. There is a garage at the venue, but I usually find it full. There are a few more just down the street and around the block, as well as street parking if you get lucky. Parking in Pittsburgh is a bit on the high side so be prepared for that. The street access to the convention center gets pretty jammed during events so you have to be prepared for that as well. The last time, they had multiple events going which, of course, adds to the traffic.

The city got invaded by lantern flies a few years ago so you might get startled by a few.

It is well worth the slight inconveniences in my opinion.

Last note: You may want to bring some bottled water. Lines tend to be long at the food and beverage stands.

and be sure to have some fun there too

I probably should go for two days instead of squeezing it all in one day. More fun, less rushed.
Wednesday / Thursday seems like the way to go but, the 1933 Double Eagles will be on display Friday. Plenty of time to think.

Bringing water, great idea!

Was thinking about a backpack but with my luck, I'd turn and hit someone holding a raw coin!
Maybe a messenger-style satchel.

You'll definitely need something to carry stuff in - the more secure the better.
Check out this picture I posted from the Texas Numismatic Association show in May. Look at what most of the guys are sporting.
