I collected a few Roman coins and I recently saw the opportunity to buy another one at a quite reasonable price. Obverse: IVLIA MAESA AVG; draped bust right Reverse: SAECVLI FELICITAS; Felicitas standing left, sacrificing over a lighted altar with a patera and holding a long caduceus. Star in field. As I was uploading it to my website I saw the need to tidy the whole thing up. It still needs some work (the order of the wives for example) but I'm quite pleased in how it's turned out. I quickly looked through your Tetrarchic and later issues and noticed a couple of issues though. The reverse description is wrong and this coin is RIC V.2 Ticinum 220 This coin is not Maximinus (MAXIMINVS) but Galerius (MAXIMIANVS) and is RIC VI Heraclea 16 both of these are RIC VII Cyzicus 9 both of these are Constantine II and you have the wrong type for the first one, maybe you uploaded the wrong picture. this one is laureate head right, so it is RIC VII Cyzicus 34 Report this Post to the Staff

I might have to return them . Yes - I did them all in a rush last night and still haven't get the Numista links in place. Thanks very much for all your help in tidying that up. That era is not my strong point and I spent most of my time trying to get decent photos. I even debated with myself if I should include the bronze coins at all - but then it's a great way to show the decline and fracture of the empire. Thanks again for taking the time to help.
