1787 Fugio Cent Found In The Wild. - Coin Community Forum

Statesmen1864 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/13/2026 8:54 pm I was laying some pipe on a job in an old home during a renovation. I found three coins, one of which was this Fugio Cent! I am wondering if this is authentic or a New Haven restrike, as the other two coins found nearby were a Brazilian Reis 40 - 1824 and an Austrian Kruezer 1816. If it is authentic, would it be worth it to send in and have it officially authenticated? I wish I had more time to dig around! * Edited by Staff to crop and/or rotate images.
