I've tried finding this online without success. I would appreciate any help in finding some more information about it.

The 1985 Olympics must have been held in someone's basement.
They put 1985 coins in a 1976 case.
You've got change, it's safe to spend it.

Thanks @DBM I thought the dates didn't work. Do you have any idea what coins the set originally contained? Would it have been '72 or '76? I was thinking I might try to find the right coins to reconstitute the original set. Just a thought. is the original set documented somewhere?
[oops sorry I guess the answer is 76. Still were they unc?]

Not an RCM product.
It's third party packaging, you can find them on ebay with various year sets in them.
The wooden box is the one used for the 1976 Olympic silver four coin sets, the insert is anything but official.
I believe some third party repurposed surplus silver coin boxes.

Thanks again @DBM

My sister-in-law just gave it to me because "I'm the coin keeper in the family ". I'll have to ask her where she got it and if she wants to fess up about the coin replacement.

Anyway I will have to do something with it because now it's an heirloom!

Appreciate the help
