Aaaaannnddd I'm out...  I'm no longer short SLV..  I just closed my position for a smaller profit than I wanted, I made just under $1,000 on that one trade today, before lunchtime. Nothing to sneeze at.  A fast Nickel sometimes is better than a slow Dime, take the money and run, Deploy it on something else.  It's one thing to come on here and make predictions on where Silver is going, it's another thing to make predictions And also put a few thousand dollars on the line on being right. I'm still short GLD with a vertical Call credit spread, but that's just to collect premium though, and I'll close that for a small profit soon as well, once the volatility drops.  |

Quote:Well done. Thanks Jbuck  I think, or thought, $62 to $60 would have been a good enough pull back before the bounce. But $63 could also be the bounce zone, so maybe I got lucky getting out there. Looks like it's back above $64  |

Uh oh it's getting pulled down again, but I think support is near.
Somewhere between here and $62
The 50 Day MA is currently sitting around $62 as well, so maybe it just wants to say hello.

Silver just made a New Low of day $63.42
Gold getting pulled down as well to a New Low of the day $4349.
You know what that means.
Selling probably continues into the evening.
Gap down tomorrow into $62 zone very likely.

The wild thing is that it just kissed the 50 day moving average to the penny I think at $62.45 then it pulled away  Even crazier is that the 8 day MA is moving Upwards just a few cents below that at around $62.20 ish so it will also meet up soon. I think we're going to see a bounce somewhere around those 2 price zones. I just hope it happens after the market opens so I can jump in. Edited by Harry213

Last night Silver was Amazing to watch if you're into technical analysis or a chart geek like me. I present to you Exhibit A below, the top photo was last night, the bottom photo is today. Like I said yesterday I said Silver wanted go down to the 50 day moving average and say hello. Well it went there and kissed the 50 Day MA to the penny then moved back up. In the top photo the 50 Day is the Green line, as you see the Red daily candle in Silver just touched it and then pushed back up like a volleyball. Below the 50 is the 8 day MA, shown as the Yellow line. Also amazing how it's shooting up like a guided missile to intercept Silver.  As you can see today the price has Rebound nicely and is now a Green candle.  Unfortunately for me the bounce happened overnight so I couldn't trade it and profit from the textbook move. I jumped in and Bought as soon as the Market opened. Better late than never. I'm getting a little bit of the tail end of the move. At 2 PM we get the release of the Fed minutes, so we'll see what they were discussing for September.. Market is looking forward to that today. |

From the looks of how the metal's are going Up while the Dollar is going Down this morning it feels like Someone may have already gotten some information ahead of time on what's in those Fed minutes. Must be nice being in that inner circle thing.  |
