Far more than the US Mint did Just for 2005 Germany produced From the 5 active mints (Mint marked as: A, D, F, G, and J) A Berlin: 120,000,000 D Munich: 126,000,000 F State Mint of Stuttgart: 144,000,000 G State Mint of Karlsruhe: 84,000,000 J Hamburg Mint: 126,000,000 For a complete total of 600,000,000 of these tiny coins. and this is for 2005 only But thanks for the comment Collecting since 1972.
