So I took a much-needed five day vacation to the Vegas suburb of Summerlin. I just got back on Wednesday night. As it turns out, one of my coin finds was as hot as the weather (110 degrees a couple of days) . This morning, while going through the last of the cents I brought back, my eyes did a double-take. Yes, my first ever 1999 Wide AW found in the wild! Another picture of the reverse showing the separation of the A and M. Grading at About Uncirculated, this is about a $150 coin! Thanks, Errers_And_Varietys! Yes, this one is far and away the hardest to find of the 1998 through 2000 Wide AM coins. While I have found five to date of the 1998 coins, interestingly, I have yet to find a 2000. My craziest summer of CRH for sure. A 2004 Wisconsin High Leaf Quarter, the 1996-W dime, the 1921-S Buffalo, and now this one. Crazy good!

Thanks, all... Still shocked and amazed this coin popped up... funniest thing is that out of 1,800 cents I searched on this trip, only one Wheat cent (a 1956) turned up - and it was from one of the other nine CWR I got at this same branch in Summerlin... the rest of the group from that branch was very below average - 25 CWR nickels only produced four super-common pre-60s (57D, 58D, 58D, 59D), and single 2009-D and 2024-D coins. The 10 rolls of CWR dimes, and 20 rolls of quarters (19 CWR) I got there were complete skunks... so this coin truly was like finding a diamond in the rough!
