It can be seen for many miles and dwarfs the nearby skyscrapers. Just another testament to how well the "too big to fail" bankster's are doing while everyone else kicks rocks.

okay, but this is just my opinion based on anything/everything anyone can read online. I read 4 articles on this same subject... AP, Reuters, al Jazeera and another, I forget which.. oh- Wall Street Journal.

i take it as implying that confidence in the US' ability to follow through on it's obligations is eroding. the dollar is trash. everyone knows it (but no one really wants the music to stop because there aren't enough chairs to go around). the dutch get a better deal with that move. sell some here, buy more elsewhere and keep it elsewhere. you'd have to read several articles to get a clearer picture.




no one really specified what those statements actually alluded to. I take 'geopolitical tensions' as meaning 'You're Fired's belligerent behavior more than anything, and I can understand that if true, but the 'crisis preparedness' part is what struck me the most. 'crisis preparedness'? I see that as a thinly-veiled 'beware'. the big players obviously know what's coming, and I think many ppl here do, too. we are getting a small taste of it now. the real pain has not arrived yet. maybe I'm wrong; I hope I am, but we are in the late innings of the current business cycle. look back 100 years ago for a parallel. the people who think 'that can't happen here' or 'that can't happen again' or 'it's different this time' are the ones who get burnt the worst. it has happened here, it can and probably will happen again and it is not any different this time. it's the same script, same connected people, just different names & faces. keep on stacking, if you can. load up on assets. everything you can get your hands on. and buckle up. 'crisis preparedness'.

that's just my take on it. do your own reading and thinking. I try telling the people who I know here and I get the thousand yard stare, and then they go back to watching Dancing With The Stars. I may as well talk to a rock.
