Purchased a BU roll of 1962 cents in a vintage tube at an antique shop recently. It's a very slow but fun year to go through!

This one stuck out to me, as I don't see any VV or Wexler matches for doubling here, but I've seen this spot on other years.

That being said, the whole roll so far exhibits reworked/filed die clash marks, so perhaps this is just a case of applying Occam's Razor?

That's one that would be worth sending to Wexler's to be attributed. You'll know 100% what it is after.

Good eye to catch that. I agree with E&V, I think it would be worth sending in.

Thank you, A1agrl

Dearborn, I'm about ten coins in so far and it's only visible on this one, so I don't think so, but

Not sure how prevalent MDO is vs DDO, when present, by which I mean, how many working hubs would be affected by either and what the mix would be in a random old roll. I hope that thought makes sense!

This one is really interesting! I'm leaning towards this being a DDO. It reminds me of 1952 DDO-003 which I found a few years ago: http://www.varietyvista.com/01a%20L...2PDDO003.htm

I would check if this also shows a doubled eye, ear, or has any similar doubling on the bowtie, date, or TRUST.

There's something under the ear now that I look but I can't tell what.
