CCFPress Press Manager United States 1420 Posts	Posted 09/13/2026 2:00 pm PCGS - The 1858/7 Flying Eagle cent is the only overdate in its series, garnering huge collector demand—but it's easy to miss. Want to know if you have one? Look for an obverse die chip, a broken wingtip below the F in "OF," and the right tip of a 7 on the right of its date. If you've got these, you might have found a grail worth 16 times the value of a regular 1858 Cent. Jimbo48 Valued Member United States 270 Posts	Posted Yesterday 8:31 pm This is my favorite variety. Over the years of collecting, I have acquired 40 of these Snow 1 coins along with one Snow 7. I originally purchased my first one from Rick Snow and after that I started finding them on ebay from sellers who just had them listed as 1858 LL coins.
